Heralded as the “Grand Daddy” of American art festivals, the Gold Coast Art Fair is celebrating more than 50 years of wowing Chicago. As one of the most highly attended art fairs in the city, The Gold Coast River North Art Fair annually attracts over 300 juried artists and 600,000 visitors from locations around the world. The free festival is set along city streets and sidewalks in the gallery-filled River North neighborhood; a world-class creative and cultural experience!

FESTIVE FOOD
Visitors enjoy a variety of fare ranging from fresh-squeezed lemonade, to sweets, snacks, sandwiches and more. Local restaurants operate continuously throughout the weekend.
CREATIVE AND EDUCATIONAL FUN
The festival features live glass blowing demonstrations by Daniel M. Marder of Making Glass LLC studio and gallery. For all ages there is Art Fest Bingo, where kids can search the art festival for images to match on their bingo card.
FREE ENTERTAINMENT
Throughout the weekend, live music entertains the crowds. From acoustic rock duo Cirrus Falcon, to smooth jazz, by Showtyme Jazz Duo.

DIRECTIONS:
From the North and South on Interstate-94
Take I-94 toward Chicago. Once within the Chicago area, take the Ohio Street exit (this is a main exit from the highway and is clearly marked). Travel eastbound on Ohio Street to LaSalle (Ohio Street is a one-way only eastbound road). Turn north onto LaSalle and go three blocks to Huron and the festival.
From the South or East
Take the Chicago Skyway to I-94 westbound. Continue on I-94 to the Ohio Street exit (this is a main exit from the highway and is clearly marked). Travel eastbound on Ohio Street to LaSalle (Ohio Street is a one-way only eastbound road). Turn north onto LaSalle and go three blocks to Huron and the festival.
From the West
Take I-290 east to I-94. Travel westbound on I-94 (follow the signs toward Milwaukee) to Chicago. Take the Ohio Street exit (this is a main exit from the highway and is clearly marked). Travel eastbound on Ohio Street to LaSalle (Ohio Street is a one-way only eastbound road). Turn north onto LaSalle and go three blocks to Huron and the festival.
PARKING:
Numerous public parking lots are located throughout the area immediately surrounding the festival. Parking rates may vary from lot to lot.
