I have been a landscape photographer for 25 years. For me outstanding lighting is as important as the subject it falls upon. I have photographed with a 6×7 cm film camera and now a high-resolution digital SLR. My display images are a mixture of film and digital. I personally scan film with a scanner that is dedicated for film. I print the photos on a latest generation large format printer which uses 10 different pigmented inks. My print media of choice are metal canvas and cotton fine-art paper. All are fully archival. To ensure that my photographic prints reflect what I saw when capturing the scene with my camera I am involved in all steps of the process. Photos are presented framed. For matted prints I use acid-free matboard and backing board. Canvas prints are stretched onto extra sturdy stretcher frames to resist warping and then framed with a wood floater frame.
