Artist Statement
Working with wood has always been a passion of mine. From harvesting the raw materials from fallen trees to applying the final coat of finish is truly an adventure. The pieces I choose appeal to my imagination. On the lathe the wood comes alive again. I like to incorporate the naturally aged edges of the tree in my pieces. Never afraid to challenge my skills I learn the most from trying new techniques. As a result my work is unique and diverse.
