Artist Statement
It is my joy to create vibrant colorful jewelry using dramamtic color combinations to uplift those who view and wear it. Dichroic transparent and opaque glass is cut layered and fused in kilns at temperatures of 1500-1600 degrees. The glass is then cooled cold worked and fire polished to give it a smooth finished look. The process is repeated until the desire effect is achieved. Sterling and fine silver is used to fashion the completed pieces into jewelry that is elegantly designed to be worn with casual to formal attire. Due to the nature of this process each piece becomes an exciting jewel reflecting rich luminous colors in the light.
