Artist Statement
My work is realized with a deep appreciation of the profound simplicity of objects and light, showcasing depth, space and balance. These are oil paintings, executed by observation, and only by natural light, so I am racing the fading of the daylight, or the wilting and withering of a bouquet of flowers as each session ends at sunset.
