Artist Statement
I started painting as a hobby that has now flourished into an awesome career! All of my pieces are original, unique and one of a kind, displaying brilliant hue and elaborate texture. I use a sheet of acrylic as my canvas and apply acrylic paint on top and reverse side of acrylic canvas resulting in various sheen and layers of mixed media and patterns. I have been blessed with amazing exposure and opportunities from winning 3rd place in the 2013 Museum of Science and Industry Creativity Exhibit, to being one of the exhibitors in Dusable Museum “Rising Stars” exhibit. I have also received International exposure in London’s Aesthetica Magazines 2013 August/September issue. I love creating abstract pieces because it allows the imagination to explore and I enjoy hearing the different perspectives from the viewers, their feedback helps to shape my direction towards future creations.
I give all credit to GOD for the opportunities, vision, inspiration, and passion to create.
