Artist Statement
I am the sole creator of all paintings displayed. The application of fluid acrylics is a slow & deliberate process. I begin by drawing the subject matter directly onto illustration board of gatorboard. 2nd, a layer of varying thickness modeling paste is applied which I carve the painting into as it dries. Then fluid acrylics are flowed into & around the dimensional/carved drawing. Many layers & hues are used ’til the desired color density is achieved.
All work is from memory, imagination, & original photo’s taken by the artist.
