Dr. Mark & the Sutures
Sunday, August 11th – Noon to 4 pm
Formed in 1987 by surgeon-guitarist Dr. Mark Hill, Dr. Mark & the Sutures will perform rock and classic hits including your favorites from The Beatles, the Eagles and many more. Save the date and join us for a Sunday afternoon of high energy live music!
Dr. Hill paid his way through college and medical school as a wedding singer, but then became a closet rock and roller. His next-door neighbor heard him play and in 1987 asked him to form a band for her block party, so he gathered friends who enjoyed music as a hobby for the gig. The police came because of a noise complaint, but Dr. Hill had taken out the appendix of the officer’s son a week earlier, so they didn’t get arrested. Today, more than 35 years later, the band continues to rock on!

Lucca & the Sons of Chicago
Saturday, August 17th – 7 to 9 pm
The Sons of Chicago are a band of eight rocking professional musicians who pay homage to two iconic American artists – BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and BOB SEGER. Songs about dreams, hope, hardship and glory of life in the U.S.A. are performed with the same emotional energy as the originals we all know and love.
Springsteen songs “Dancing in the Dark”, “Glory Days”, “Hungry Heart”, “Tenth Avenue Freezeout”, “Darlington County”, “Bobby Jean”, “The Rising”, “Badlands”, “Cadillac Ranch”, “Born In The USA” and “Born to Run” are interwoven with Bob Seger classics “Roll Me Away”, “Like a Rock”, “Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man”, “I Feel Like a Number”, “Old Time Rock n’ Roll”, “Katmandu” and “Fire Down Below” to create a rockin’ concert experience like no other.
There’s no need to register or RSVP for the concerts, but if you’d like a chance to win a $50 gift card to be used at the Port Clinton Art Festival (Saturday and Sunday, August 24th and 25th), let us know you’re coming by clicking on the TicketLeap link here: https://www.ticketleap.events/events/amdur-productions.
