Representing beauty through painting is a great joy to me. I especially love the freshness clarity and mystery of watercolor. My work is an expression of the places and people I know or would someday like to know and of nature's beauty through florals garden scenes and still life. I want to paint with honesty and sensitivity. I want to be true to my subjects. I hope that the viewer will respond to my work and be touched by it. I am always fascinated that each painting I create seems to take on a life of its own–and when a viewer senses that living presence I believe that I have succeeded.
