Artist Statement
Through my artwork I can share my story of the places I visit and the ever fleeting glimpses that are life on Earth. My life is an adventure where I can explore the frontier of the camera and find new ways to express the story of each moment in the best way they can be captured; thus inspiring profound thought and creation from reflection of natural beauty. The whole of my current collection represents only the beginning of my photographic journey through life and reflects an ongoing love for the intimate details of nature. Whether it is a small animal or the vastness of the Grand Canyon I want to capture its reality and eternalize the moment. I use the juxtaposition of manmade creations with creations of Mother Nature to embody our continual interaction with natural things. This juxtaposition of nature and manmade instruments has become a metaphor that is the cycle of creation capturing nature with my camera the same way a city skyline interacts with the clouds and the Earth.
