For over 2000 years mankind has been playing with metal rings and linking them together ring by ring with two pairs of pliers. I've updated the conventional view of chainmaille by using a bold color palette and interesting geometric shapes and patterns not restricted to what one would expect from an ordinary torus! Circles are not confined to being circles they can be undulating waves lookalike braids complicated lattices and slithering S curves. Fine jewelry doesn't need to be pure metal tones it can be blues purples and pinks too. I enjoy working with the vast palette available when you anodize aluminum. Not only can I get bright bold statement colors but every pastel in between making for subtle fade patterns.
