In his work the artist a former physician seeks to honor people as individuals. Using natural anatomy he creates a caricature of recognizable trees imbedded in a rocky landscape demonstrating their uniqueness and relating to each other and the viewer. In a self -taught process copper wire is molded and fused with tin. Then a eutectic alloy is applied reheated and worked like clay to create a textured bark. The sculpture is finished with patinas and/or resins.
