Jewelry is sculpture. It has the added responsibility to interact with the body on which it is worn. It needs to be comfortable, durable and look good. But, on or off the body, it is really sculpture. I approach jewelry in this manner, with strong use of line, form and volume. My straight forward design sense is influenced by my parents who have collected asian art throughout their married life. Sometimes you can say more by saying less.
