Artist Statement

I use rich acrylic paints to create vibrant images on stretched canvas – in colorful abstracts or more realistic impressionist ones. For texture and depth, I use thick gesso, layers of underpainting, and sometimes water soluble oil. I love the effects of splattering and splashing.
