Artist Statement
The wooden flower is made from bass wood. Most of the flowers petals are the same shape and size. They are all hand-painted with acrylic paint. Some of the flowers use the same design petals. We structured the position up or down depending upon the type of flower. Painting them with their true colors make our work look realistic. Our hand-turned wooden vases are turned from maple wood. Each piece is designed from shapes and structured that we see around us. Trying to be unique with our designs we use color staines to separate the fine lines and edges. Working with the same medium for both flowers and vases allow us to create custom arrangements that is unique for every customer.
