Artist Statement
My work consists of a wide variety of fused (a.k.a. kiln-formed) glass. All of the products that I design are One of a kind unique in color shape and size. The following is a list of my fused items: GLASS WINDCHIMES: some of which are constructed with driftwood from the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth. They appear delicate yet can withstand substantial wind gusts. FUSED GLASS BOWLS TRAYS and ORNAMENTS: are not only functional but are often displayed as art. KILN-FORMED GLASS JEWELRY PENDANTS: are more labor intensive with several mixed color options setting them apart from what is most commonly seen. Some pieces are made with a hand-crafted sterling silver or gold wired bail. AWARD WINNING MOSAIC MIRRORS: include a combination of fused and hand cut opaque glass. I have many requests for custom-made pieces. This season we are having all new table covers sewn all of which are the same shade of khaki. This will showcase all the brilliant colors that fill our booth.
