Artist Statement

We are dedicated to crafting beautiful vibrant serigraphs that delight the senses and refresh the soul. Our process is meticulous and hands-on; our aesthetic is iconic influenced fully by the strengths and limitations of the screen printing process and drawing on inspiration from the great poster artists of the last century. Design and composition is every bit as important to us as the subject matter itself. We use archival water-based acrylic screen printing inks and print only on high-quality acid-free heavy cover stocks. Throughout 2013 Kyle and his father Terry Baker previously a career creative in advertising at Leo Burnett in Chicago embarked on an ambitious fine art project aiming to capture the magic of The Windy City. The result is our masterpiece a painstakingly crafted 16-color serigraph celebrating the icons and architecture of our beloved city.
