Artist Statement
Creating with leather allows me to custom design each work of art. In 1999 I started working with leather. My mentor Bill Gromer a recipient of the Al Stohlman award for leather arts taught me to develop my own style of carving and design. Leather allows me to work with a variety of media and craft including woodworking sculpting and painting. I hand carve emboss and paint. My attention to detail and quality is second to none. I offer custom hand carving and traditional craftsmanship. Because of my passion for wildlife and history it is often the subject of my art.
