Artist Statement
Magnificent stained glass is mounted onto custom-made plywood/plexiglass guitar forms (full scale or larger); then accessorized with mosaic tiles metals etc.; and lastly grouted: Plywood/plexiglass cut by band saw to desired guitar style and sizing. Main guitar face and tuner peg pieces are cut using glass ring-saw and grinder; then glued onto plywood. Fingerboard design created by cutting vertical pieces of gradually wider width separated by thin glass frets. Drill press creates hole detail. Cut and mount vertical side pieces that involves an alternating design. Metallic surfaces create a diffraction-lighting affect when up lit. Custom colored grout applied to vertical side pieces and entire top circumference. Creatively design and mount pick guard bridge base electrical jacks knobs vibrator or tremolo bars tuner pegs. Option to fully illuminate/back-light w/ changing light-level circuit.Option for image inserts in circular middle or pick-guard areas.
