Festival Description
The Spring Magnificent Mile Art Festival showcases the original art of 60 artists in the plaza and sidewalks of 875 North Michigan Avenue (previously known as the Hancock Building) in this free to the public arts event. Festival hours are 10 am – 5 pm daily. The event is ADA accessible and hosted by 875 North Michigan Avenue and The Magnificent Mile Association in conjunction with Amdur Productions.
Michigan Avenue, also called “The Magnificent Mile” is Chicago’s world renowned upscale shopping area playing host to world class luxury stores, boutiques, residences and offices. Tourists, residents and area professionals pack the area daily.
Area residents have an average household net worth of over $790,000 and 38% of the residents have graduate degrees or higher. The combination of wealth, education, and lots of foot and vehicular traffic makes this location a great place to show and sell your art.

- Artist Sales: Artists keep all their sales income from the show.
- Exhibitor Spaces: About 60 spaces
- Staff Support: Amdur Productions staff is present on site throughout the entire festival to assist artists from load in to load out.
- Load-in: Friday evening and Saturday morning load-in available. Artists will dolly their things to their space from the adjacent curb lanes.
- Booth Sitting: Amdur Productions staff is available to booth sit for artists throughout the entire festival.
- Artist Parking: Amdur Productions gives best efforts to reserve close day and overnight parking for artists at a discounted rate.
- Equipment Rental: Tents, tent weights, tables, and chairs available for rent. Fees apply.
- Pro Panel Rental: We have limited “pro-panel” walls available for artists. Rental is on a first come/first served basis, quantity is limited. Fees apply.
- Hotel Rooms: Amdur Productions works to provide discounts at local hotels for each festival.
- Awards: Bestowed at the art festival.
- Marketing: A large multi-layered marketing plan supports this show with digital and print advertisements, on radio, posters, street banners, social media, and through direct mail postcards. A professional public relations team ensures high visibility for this festival.
- Security: Full-time security is provided.

- January 17, 2026 and Thereafter: Late application fees apply, $10 per festival
- February 16, 2026: Notifications of festival status online
- March 16, 2026: Registration forms and show fees due (in full or half).
- March 17, 2026 and Thereafter: Late registration fees apply, $20 per festival
- April 1, 2026: Last day for refunds, less $50

Festival Policies and Eligibility >
Notifications, Festival Status, and Registering
As we review applications for the art festival, we will email the results with either an invitation or a waitlist number. Invited artists will need to register by March 19, 2024. If an artist in invited after March 19, 2024, they will need to register within 3 days from when the invitation was sent.
Waitlist artists will be invited off the waitlist as the event gets closer. If an artist is invited off the waitlist, the artist will receive an email and will need to register within 3 days from when the invitation was sent.
