Artist Statement

I create unique jewelry using my handmade beads: lampwork fused & dichroic glass genuine stones crystals vintage beads and mixed metals. I fire my own glass & mold sterling silver using precious metal clay. I have been metalsmithing for 10 years. 2 years ago I started working with pmc to make my own unique findings. Last year I started using wire in more organic ways through weaving and coiling.This year I added steampunk qualities to my jewelry. The inspiration for my pieces comes from the rich variety of forms in the world around us; whether its in the beauty of nature or in the excitement of shapes in an urban setting. I bring my materials with and make custom items at the show to fit the individual. My pieces and my booth are both trendy and eclectic. I subscribe to continuous training so that I can update my skills and keep my inventory current with new innovative techniques.
