Artist Statement
I am a graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Jewelry and Objects. Designing and fabricating jewelry that others wear with pride creates a sense of passion within me. I draw inspiration from places that have influenced my life; Provence France Savannah New York and the beach. These locations inspire and direct my jewelry designs. Based off of the pieces I made for myself I distilled the designs to create a production line of jewelry that others can relate to and wear so that they can immortalize their own memories. I work predominantly in sterling silver. Each piece starts out as raw materials including wire sheet metal and casting grain. I cast form solder and polish each piece by hand. I then add fresh water pearls and natural stones to complete the designs.
