Quiz and Tips from Amy Amdur

April is the perfect time to take stock of the art on your walls and in your home or office. Refreshing your space can be as simple as changing the art on your walls. After years of owning a piece of art you may not notice the art anymore. So what to do? Take an art inventory of your art.
TAKE AN ART INVENTORY
Ask yourself: “What do I truly love?” “ Which pieces do I walk past without noticing?” Ask “ Is this art a relic from a past chapter in my life?” Ask yourself: “ Is it faded, or are the colors and subject matter no longer inspiring me?”
Keep the pieces you love, and contribute your old art to a place like the Chicago Furniture Bank, a nonprofit that provides essential furnishings to those transitioning out of homelessness. Festival attendees can donate gently used wall art to help turn empty houses into homes. Amdur Productions is proud to continue its six-year partnership with the Chicago Furniture Bank
