Artist Statement
My artwork originates from an idea or something interesting I find in our environment. I am influenced by hiking in the wilderness ambient music yoga & meditation and a spirit of exploration. Love when people ‘connect’ with my art. The images are photographs Ive taken often (but not always) multiple exposures combined into a High Dynamic Range (HDR) image with some digital magic and touch-up. I also use different light than you may expect to capture the scene in a unique way. All are Limited Editions – Matte Canvas: roll sealer & stretch by hand. Fine Art Paper: mat to standard sizes. Do 100% of production work with archival materials. Include Certificate with each piece. Often have people tell me I’m their favorite artists at shows. Love interacting with people and sharing my artwork. It also gives me invaluable insight of peoples perception of my work and helps me grow as an artists and provide work that people love and I love to create! 🙂
