: : Artist Statement The world in which we live today offers change as the one thing that can be counted on. We live our lives at such a fast pace many of us barely have time to breathe let alone see the beauty that hovers just beneath the blur. With camera and lens I reveal some of the treasures our every day surroundings have to offer allowing the viewers to Breath Ponder and Contemplate that which lies just beyond our every day perception. Kant said Imagination is an art hidden in the depths of nature a blind but indispensable faculty of the human soul without which we would have no knowledge whatsoever” Unexpected images stimulate the imagination engaging the human soul and mind. Images that encourage new moments of creative engagement that alter our perceptions and finally open new channels of perception and communication. My work freezes what passes as a sweeping gaze elaborating our vision of the elements that form our environment. My work seeks to elevate them all”
