Artist Statement
I am a digital photographer using the best Canon 35mm cameras and lenses available. My subject matter includes birds (Bald Eagles Herons Egrets Sandhill Cranes Cardinals Woodpeckers etc.) other wild animals such as bears Waterfalls Lighthouses Scenic Landscapes Unusual buildings and churches etc. I tend to choose technically difficult subjects. I will wait for hours for the right light and shoot hundreds of frames to get the perfect image. My final produced photos can range from 8×10 to 30 x40″ or larger. I spent the last 15 years building a porfolio of high quality images so that I could sell at High quality art festivals like the ones I am applying. I attended the Arlington Heights Barrington festivals in the last two years and feel that my photos will compare favorably to anything that was at those festivals. In addition I did not see a lot of subject matter like what I will present for sale. I do not having a proper booth photo. These will be my 1st festivals.”
