Artist Statement
I delight in pleasing and inspiring others through life's visual surprises and my unique perspectives on our surroundings. Whether people find something in my photography that amuses and brings a smile or one that provides a fond or poignant moment remembered or a sense of peace…. it is always rewarding to know that someone has been moved or touched by something I've created. I have been honored to receive numerous invitations to the top flower shows in the U.S. where my ceramic tile art and fine art giclees have been featured. Much of my work has been enhanced through the digital process. Applying a series of several filters to my images they not only take on a more painted feel they take on a three-dimensional quality. The finest archival pigmented inks and art papers are used to produce my gicless and my photography translates elegantly as outdoor and waterproof ceramic tile art. These provide an extended area in which to enjoy my creations.
