Artist Statement
All my Garden Fables are inspired by the Aesop’s fables and other stories my Mom and Dad read to me when I was little. When I started looking for something unique to carve the pictures from my childhood were an obvious choice. After I’ve finished a carving I make a mold of it and then pour a casting using cold-cast method. It took nearly 10 years for me to figure out how to reproduce my carvings to my satisfaction and I’m thrilled with the way they look now! Each Place Tells A Story” so I include a story booklet with each plaque. I sincerely hope you enjoy my plaques and their stories as much as I still do. I’m very proud to say each plaque is 100% Made by me in the USA!”
