Artist Statement
My passion for photography began in the seventies. By the eighties my images were used in commercial brochures calendars catalogs and for a US congressional race. In 2005 I switched my focus to my first love – Fine Art. My images focus on natural occurring abstracts. Compositions are taken from rock formations reflections on water light playing through ice and glass. The images are capture through the lens. Although Photoshop is used as the digital darkroom for printing it is not use for generating or creating the image. I do my own printing with an Epson pro printer and exhibition canvas. Before stretching the image I coat the canvas with a liquid laminated. The result is a water resistance archival image with UV protection. Images are limited to 50 editions. It is a gift to be able to see the awe and wonder of life.
