Artist Statement
Retired executive from the Cosmetic Industry I always loved color and design. My new South African Husband introduced me to African art in 2005 and I fell in love. I never knew that there was an artist deep inside of me and it took spending lots of time in Africa to let that blossom. Wire bending is an art form in Africa. Learning the techniques of bending wire and stringing while we were in Africa lit my soul. Each of our unique Kudu Klip combs are hand bent. We are bringing a part of Africa to America and sharing a 1 000 year old tradition.
