Artist Statement
My cars are all photographed outdoors using the natural elements to help define the Face of the car. Each image is digitally manipulated through a series of subtle changes that serve both to isolate sculptural components of a classic car from its original context as well as enhance the brilliant colors that define the character of each vehicle. The effect produces iconographic images of both rare and familiar cars of the past and present. My new pieces are post coated with hi-gloss acrylic then float mounted on stainless steel or diamond plate. All images are digitally produced using all archival materials.
