Artist Statement
I am an Author whose subjects live in the garden. I am a Narrator who speaks of grace splendor and wonderment. I am a Biographer who chronicles but a single moment in time. I am a Storyteller of the beautiful and the bold. Who am I? I am an Artist with passion a Photographer who sees a flower in a different light. My passion is capturing flowers and botanicals in a unique light. To give them life on canvas I use a variety of lighting techniques in creating my art from a soft whisper to the harsh and loud. I print Giclee canvas prints for my framed pieces with my Epson 7890 on Epson Exhibition Canvas Matte using Epson Ultra Chrome K3. I feel that the canvas adds an appealing texture and depth to my images. For my un-framed and matted works I print Giclee paper prints on Epson Exhibition Fiber paper for its ability to render rich smooth tones. Thank you for your consideration.
