Artist Statement
My objective as an artist is to create aesthetic forms using incredibly rich colors and textures. Before I start the glass blowing process I carefully choose my color palette the same way a painter prepares a painting along with the shape I wish to create. I choose colors that are aesthetically pleasing in my opinion that is applied to a shape that is simplistic yet elegant in form. Vision is the primary source for all our experiences when observing objects in the world the first thing that is noticed is the color. So naturally color is the most important factor for me when creating a glass piece.
