19th Annual Art at the Glen
Glenview’s spectacular Glen Town Center is home to the 19th annual Art at the Glen on July 30 and 31. More than 140 juried artists from near and far will showcase and sell their one-of-a-kind pieces in a variety of mediums including painting, photography, ceramics, furniture, jewelry, wood, fiber and more! Non-stop live music on three stages and activities and art projects for kids add to the family-friendly vibe. Festival food and several restaurants just steps away from the artists’ booths ensure that no one will go hungry! The show is handicap accessible and wheel friendly. Admission and parking are free with street parking and plenty of nearby lots. Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing. Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project. Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur’s 2022 charitable partner, Make-A-Wish Illinois. While in Glenview, be sure to visit the Glenview Art League’s annual Summer Art Fair, which takes place during the same weekend as Art at the Glen.
