Artist Statement
My name is Gerardo Valerio Trigueros, I’m and artist from Costa Rica, I specialize in Wild Life Art and my mission is to make consciousness in young adults and kids about preservation of the environment for our future generations through my work. I would like to keep participating in Art festivals to spread the word about nature protection. My work tools are brushes, canvas and paintings using acrylic, oil, pastel and watercolor. In my techniques I really enjoy the use of light in my paintings to give them a different perspective and a more realistic effect, as well as using many layers if it applies to animals or landscaping, it all depends of what type of paintings I’m doing.
