Artist Statement
Upon return from our travels abroad we were inspired to create artwork in the form of poetry derived from life experiences. Our most notable collection, The Thought Collection combines our own hand drawn Japanese Calligraphy & original poetry. The brush and ink style is self-taught & the poetry unfolds word by word.
We have put together three other collections, ‘The Red Line’ brings together, original poetry with line drawings of Yoga poses. The Ancients Collection uses original sketches of ancient trees, trees that live to be 1,000+ years old, combined with poetry. Our other collection, Sea the Fish, combines our poetry & illustrations of Fish.
All our artwork and our poetry are our own originals. We hand draw all our work using brush and ink or pen and ink depending upon the collection. All work is finished on 100% Organic Cotton. We individually hand-package each shirt to create an elegant presentation.
